Lynn has a new friend. The fact that she's a pig that is supposed to be turned into pork chops does nothing to dampen the love she feels for her playful pal. But as time passes she begins to question her resolve: can she eat Harriet? Her friends have their doubts.
This NFB short doc was shot primarily in the community of Small Point-Broad Cove-Blackhead-Adam's Cove.
Awarded "Zed People's Choice Award" at the Dawson International Short Film Festival.

Every spring humpback whales return to eat capelin off the coast of Newfoundland.
In 2014 a camera crew from "Wild Canada" a series premiered on "The Nature of Things" spent several weeks exploring the area and filming humpbacks and orcas along the coast of the Baccalieu Trail. You can view some of the spectacular footage on the CBC Player at:
